It includes measured State of Health, usable energy, cell voltage delta, pack temperature behaviour, stored and pending high-voltage fault codes, realistic range and a five-year SOH projection. There is no travel fee inside the service area.

What does measured State of Health mean?

It is the battery’s measured remaining capacity as a percentage of its original factory capacity — not the dashboard’s changing estimate. The report also shows cell voltage spread, because a single SOH number cannot reveal how evenly the cells perform.

Can you test my vehicle?

Yes. We test every electric, plug-in hybrid and hybrid vehicle, including models that are not listed in our online dropdowns — choose “Other / model not listed” and type it in. We test every electric, plug-in hybrid and hybrid vehicle. Which measurements appear in your report depends on the vehicle’s diagnostic protocol, and we confirm those with you at the appointment.

Do hybrids work differently?

Their battery architecture and diagnostic protocols differ from battery electric vehicles, so the set of measured outputs can differ. The test, the price and the mobile service are the same, and we explain the measured outputs for your vehicle at the appointment.

Do I pay when I book?

Secure online payment confirms your booking. Booking online reserves a date and an AM or PM session. Payment is arranged directly with you.

Will I be given an exact arrival time?

Not at the time of booking. You choose a morning (AM) or afternoon (PM) session, and the exact arrival time and attendance details are confirmed with you when we contact you about the appointment.

Which areas do you cover?

Sydney, Blue Mountains + Wollongong book online. Newcastle is also covered, but by phone booking only — contact us to arrange. If your suburb sits outside the listed areas, confirm coverage with us before booking.

Is the battery opened or dismantled?

Accepted Answer

No. AVILOO FLASH is read-only: nothing is written to the vehicle, nothing is dismantled and no repair work is performed.

Question 9

Does the report include a future outlook?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The paid report includes a five-year State of Health projection modelled from the measured capacity and the pack’s charge and discharge behaviour, including projected distance to the 70% manufacturer warranty floor. The public calculator only demonstrates the shape of a projection and does not test a battery.

Where is the test carried out?

Accepted Answer

At the vehicle. We are fully mobile and can attend a seller’s home, dealership, auction yard or workplace. There is no workshop and you do not need to drive anywhere.
