Terms of Service

EV BATTERY LAB provides a mobile, read-only high-voltage battery assessment using the supported diagnostic information available from the vehicle. The price is $249 AUD per vehicle unless a separate written quote is agreed.

This is a battery assessment, not a full pre-purchase or roadworthy inspection. It does not replace mechanical, structural, roadworthy, safety, finance, ownership or recall checks.

You must provide accurate vehicle and booking information, lawful permission to access the vehicle, a safe and reasonably level working area, access to the vehicle and keys, and a vehicle in a condition that permits the diagnostic process. Diagnostic coverage varies by model and software configuration.

If inaccurate information, unsafe access, absence, vehicle condition, software, connection or another matter within the customer’s control prevents testing, we may need to stop the appointment. We will explain the available rescheduling or cancellation options under the Cancellation & Refund Policy.

If we cannot complete the service for a reason within our control, you may choose a reasonable rescheduled appointment or a full refund.

The report records measurements available at the time of testing. Battery condition and range can change with use, temperature, charging, software and vehicle condition. Forecasts and calculators are estimates for discussion, not measurements, guarantees or warranties.

Online payment confirms an eligible booking only after the payment provider confirms payment to our system. Our Cancellation & Refund Policy forms part of these terms.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent permitted by law, liability for a failure of a consumer guarantee may be limited to supplying the service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again, where that limitation is fair and reasonable.
