Methodology, units and sources

projectedSOH = max(0, min(100, currentSOH − annualLossPP × year))

Losses are straight-line percentage points of original capacity, not compound percentages of the current value. Units: 2 percentage points takes 90% to 88% after one year, 86% after two years, and so on.

The 1, 2 and 3 percentage-point rates are arbitrary educational scenarios chosen to bracket a simple range. They are not derived from your entered SOH, your vehicle, its chemistry, climate, mileage or charging behaviour, and no calibration factors are applied. No probability, confidence interval, best or worst case, typical rate, remaining life, replacement date, resale value or safety pass/fail is expressed or implied.

The graph demonstrates presentation shape only. The paid report's model is based on the tested vehicle's measured capacity and charge-discharge behaviour.
