77 kWh at a modelled 18.1 kWh/100 km is roughly 425 km of real driving against a 521 km claim. That is within a few kilometres of the ID.5 GTX, which is what you would expect from the same pack, the same motors and a similar shape.
Cupra's two warranties
Cupra's terms treat its battery-electric cars and its plug-in hybrids differently, and it matters if you are comparing across the range. The Born and Tavascan get the stepped capacity guarantee. Why the stepped curve helps a used buyer
A single 70% floor at eight years tells you almost nothing about a two-year-old car. A published 78% at three years does. A Tavascan reading 90% at two years is comfortably healthy; one reading 81% is inside the guarantee and still a car you should pay less for, because it has used most of its allowance early. The guarantee turns a State of Health figure into a judgement rather than a trivia point.
What normal looks like
