Menai sits on the bushland plateau above the Georges River, on larger blocks than most of Sydney, and its electric vehicles have a characteristic profile: good charging, long distances, sheltered parking.
Three-phase changes the charging picture
Properties on larger blocks out this way are considerably more likely to have three-phase power, and many have substantial rooftop solar. Both matter for a battery.
Three-phase means a faster home AC charger — but "faster AC" is still slow in battery terms, and that is the point. AC charging at home barely warms the pack. DC fast charging pushes very high current in and generates real heat doing it, and repeated heat cycling is what permanently removes capacity.
Add solar and a lot of the charging happens during the day at modest current off the household's own generation, which is gentler still. A vehicle that has spent four years charging this way has had an easier life than one run off highway chargers, and it usually measures accordingly.
Distance is the offsetting factor
Everything is a drive from here. Shops, schools, work, the motorway. That means genuine daily kilometres, and on a longer run it means a deeper discharge and a fuller recharge — complete charge cycles, which age a pack more than distance alone.
So Menai vehicles tend to have both: a kind charging history and real use. That combination generally produces a healthy pack with an honest odometer, which is a good position to buy into once you have confirmed it.
The bushland effect
Heavy tree cover and a plateau position mean Menai runs cooler than the open western suburbs, and cools down properly overnight. Since heat is the primary driver of permanent capacity loss, that is a real advantage — and with garages standard on this housing stock, local vehicles are well sheltered.

Towing is worth asking about
Larger blocks mean boats, trailers and caravans. Towing roughly doubles an electric vehicle's energy consumption and puts sustained high current draw on the pack for long periods, with a lot more deep discharges than suburban driving produces.
That is not damaging — the drivetrain is designed for it — but a vehicle that has towed regularly has run hotter for more of its life and cycled harder than its odometer implies. It is a fair question and it is not one the listing answers.
